New Coffees Joining our Line-up Soon!
As we move further into the year, we have now said farewell to some more of our recent coffees - we've now finished the last of our Guatemala ADIESTO and Brazil Fazenda Santa Barbara coffees.
Our TopShelf blend is also currently unavailable, while we rebuild it with fresh crop coffees -
we anticipate having the new blend back in stock and available
within two to three weeks from now.
In new coffee news, so far we have two confirmed coffees which will be available to order a couple of weeks from now - Colombia Tolima Organic and an Ecuador Carmen Gagnay.
The Organic Tolima was a huge hit last year, and we are excited to welcome this one back to our lineup.
It is tasting sweet and complex, and is sure to please all palates.
We are also excited to be bringing in our first ever small lot of delicious Ecuadorian coffee, produced by Carmen Gagnay of La Fortaleza. La Fortaleza is a 4-hectare farm with 3 hectares planted in coffee, primarily Bourbon and Sidra varieties. Among the coffee trees, there are also other plants, such as yuca, beans, corn, and sugar cane. For four months out of the year, the coffee is picked ripe and depulped the same day, fermented dry for at least 15 hours. The coffee is then washed until the mucilage is completely removed, and dried in a combination of raised beds and under canopies.
In addition to these two coffees, we have several other exciting, new coffee lots booked -
stay tuned for more details in our next update!
Pallet #4 is on the way!
As some of you may have already seen on social media, we are excited to announce that
Pallet #4 is on the way, joining the neighbourhood of Oak & 22nd very soon!
Since beginning in 2014 we have loved seeing Pallet steadily grow as a household name for specialty coffee in Vancouver. Over this past year and a half in particular, our brand has begun to grow in leaps and bounds, bringing the opening of our 2nd and 3rd Pallet stores. In turn, the Pallet brand has started travelling further and further abroad, gaining more exposure and interest both in and out of the coffee industry.
Whilst we are incredibly excited to begin the journey of opening this next location, of upmost importance to us, is staying true to the essence of Pallet and our values - committing ourselves to an unwavering focus on consistently excellent specialty coffee and a continued desire to create and share amazing coffee and experiences with our community.
Pallet #4 is still in the early stages of construction, but we hope to be open by early June of this year.
Stay tuned for more details as the project develops!
