This coffee comes from Vereda in the North of the Huila region of Colombia. It is grown by Nelson Martinez and his Family at an altitude of 1700m above sea level.
We purchased this coffee through El Vergel Estate and Colombian Coffee Club as part of their Partner Series where the help showcase and export coffee from friends and family across Colombia.
The cherries are depulped before being fermented in water baths for 12-24 hours. After fermentation the coffee is sun dried on patios for 10-15 days.
This coffee is a great all rounder and will be featured a lot in our Pallet Cafes as both a single origin espresso and filter coffee.
